Pre-Requisite:

  • Expertise in most of the following e-commerce analytics tools:SiteCatalyst, Discover, Insights

  • Expertise in Big Data tools and skills including:Hadoop (Hive), Splunk, SQL, R, Python

  • Business experiences allowing for strong interconnection between analysis and solving of business problems.

  • The person in the Business Developer role would be a quota carrying salesperson focused on driving the sale of Dell’s Enterprise class client portfolio in Partner Led Route To Market – mainly focusing on PUB- Government accounts

Role & responsibilities:

  • This person will work with existing Account teams and key partners to identify accounts that represent the highest value to Dell specific to the client (laptops/desktops/workstations/Tablets) portfolio. 

  • Engaging directly & along with Account Executive teams with key customers on Dell Client Portfolio, Client Security, Systems Management, Cloud Client and Mobility point of view discussions

  • He/She will qualify and drive sales campaigns around a variety of end user compute solutions in a defined territory.  The specialist will make customer sales calls to surface, qualify, position and close new high value opportunities  and owns the CSG sales quota for Partner Led RTM for the region

  • Co-ordinate and plan Customer Seminars, Road-Shows in defined accounts w,r,t EUC. Lead events in the region by providing content, customer insights

  • He/She must possess a competitive knowledge of the enterprise and consumer class client computing solutions and must be able to articulate how the Dell Solutions differ from the leading competitors.

  • Engage on business level discussions around solving end user device and data security management challenges across a customer’s environment. Through this discussion build an overall vision for transforming a customer’s operating environment to meet business requirements.

  • The specialist will conduct high level white board sessions to evaluate and recommend business requirements for a range of client compute models.

Key skiils : 

  • Should be conversant with EUC components – Desktops, Laptops, Workstations and Tablets
  • Bachelor’s degree is a mandate; post-graduation in Sales & Marketing would be an advantage. 

  • Atleast 8+ years Hardware Sales/ Solution sales experience including 3-5 years of experience focused on end user computing solutions is necessary. 

  • Knowledge of working with Partners/Commercial channel

  • Candidate must be able to work effectively, independently and with existing sales teams.

  • Candidate should be able to demonstrate a strong written and oral communications skills, exemplary selling skills, and good time management skills.
