  • The Business Analyst – Customer Care supports Advanced Materials Customer Care function to collect and analyze data on order management related transactions, and responsible to produce various metrics and KPI for the global Customer Care organization. Other responsibilities include the support of data cleansing, define new report &/or enhancement requirements according to the forever growing business needs.

  • Candidate must possess and can demonstrate:

  • Advanced skills in the latest version of Excel and Access; must be able to demonstrate very good knowledge and experience with various advanced functions for data compilation and analysis.

Job Description : 

  • Responsible for all collections activities on 1 or more portfolios of customers. Activities include establishing and maintaining contact with customers concerning open invoices, looking at payment trends and history, timely escalation and/or resolution of disputes and timely escalation of collection issues to the business.

  • Responsible for the accurate cash receipts forecast on the assigned portfolio(s) on a monthly basis

  • Maintain risk awareness through solid credit analysis of a strategic international portfolio. Evaluate credit risk, make recommendations on and/or set temporary credit limits on new and existing accounts.

  • Responsible for ensuring collection and forecast metrics are achieved on the assigned portfolio(s)

  • Review and approve global tax withholding submissions. 

  • Build relationships with relevant business partners to ensure a smooth cooperation between the Credit department and the business (es) that own the assigned portfolios

  • Work closely with site sales managers to structure financing alternatives for customers requiring special financing.

  • Adds value to the business by consistently improving processes and maximizing cash flow for the assigned portfolios

  • Assumes the position of senior within the team by supporting and coaching other team members, especially new comers

  • Ad-hoc projects relating to credit & collections or process improvement might be assigned

  • Familiarity with local government, markets, and state owned entities

  • Maintain credit data in SAP

  • Actively participate in Cash Calls

  • Perform thorough risk assessment for all customers in portfolio and are highly visible across leadership and the organization

  • Up to data customer reconciliation of accounts

Required skills :

  • Strong problem solving, interpersonal, and financial analysis skills

  • Goal oriented, motivated self-starter, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.

  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills with the ability to deal tactfully, confidently, and ethically with both internal and external customers. 

  • Strong PC skills with proficiency in Excel and experience with other Microsoft Office products: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access

  • Places a high priority on customer satisfaction 

  • Proficient in SAP A/R systems highly desirable.
