Responsibilities :

  • As a part of the regional delivery team, deliver complex CEC projects either as the Program/Project Manager or coach/mentor/guide the market unit the assigned Project manager to deliver the projects. 

  • Apply specific functional and technical knowledge of e-commerce applications to help guide the design and implementation of the solution

  • Apply consistent project management approach and deliver consistent quality across engagements

  • Manage project scope, timelines & budget. Define baseline and plan, monitor and control against baseline and ensure there is no overrun.

  • Create detailed project management plans from estimated scope of work

  • Monitor and Control project and provide in-depth status reports to engagement management and customer team

  • Track and manage all project related issues and plan for issues resolution and track them till closure.

  • Manage Project Risk – plan risk management, identify risk, perform qualitative & quantitative risk assessment, plan risk response, monitor and track the risk till closure.

  • Deliver project outputs in accordance with project plans, costs & to customer expectations. 

  • Manage Project Scope – Define detail project scope, plan for collecting requirement, create WBS, validate scope customer and control requirement. 

  • Define project deliverables, assign roles and responsibility and ensure completion of deliverables on time.

  • Manage the test and acceptance process to sign off with the customer

  • Primary point of contact to manage customer expectations and communication (including timetabled and ad hoc meetings) to ensure that the customer is informed on the project status and obtain customer approval and sign off on all major deliverables. 

  • Manage the project team including assigning individual project tasks, holding regular meetings to monitor progress & ensuring all timesheets are completed on time. 

  • Organize and lead the project team to achieve the project objectives, ensuring that team roles, responsibilities and expectations are defnied, understood and fulfilled

  • Co-ordinate input from all project members including third party suppliers, and customer staff to ensure successful delivery. 

  • Ensure all work is produced in accordance with appropriate processes and that opportunities for improvement are identified and agreed. 

  • Provide leadership to diagnose and overcome barriers to team/project progress. Identify project issues, alternative resource plans, and other risks for both the customer and SAP. Implement mitigation strategies and contingency plans.

  • Manage the project scope to ensure that requirements and changes are analysed, documented and agreed upon

  • Gather, create and distribute project information to all stakeholders and project team members 

  • Ensure the relevant repositories are updated and maintained. 

  • Regular and ad hoc meetings with the PMO team and where applicable, the Delivery Lead to report project progress. 

  • Lead end of project reviews and produce a project close down report within 10 days of the project completion. 

  • Participate in estimation, staffing analysis, and solutioning in order to provide inputs for preparing delivery for the proposal

  • Collectively as a part of the regional delivery team, the person will be responsible for sales support, delivery governance, KM and references. 

  • Alignment with Hybris services sales and Hybris license sales

  • SAP representative on critical Hybris engagements

Skills & Competencies :
  • Extensive experience working in the eCommerce sector and a broad understanding of transactional website design and build

  • Experience with Hybris, or competition products e.g. Demandware, Oracle ATG, IBM WSC or similar eCommerce platforms

  • Proven experience working as a Senior Project Manager at a senior level.

  • Experience in Omni-Channel consultancy and system integration

  • Experience working within teams building eCommerce systems or other high availability web-based applications

  • Sound understanding of the eCommerce landscape including eCommerce platforms and integration with Mobile, Social Networking, Marketing & Analytics

  • eCommerce project management experience, either within an agency, systems integration consultancy or within an online/digital department of an established retailer

  • Experience in Agile, and Waterfall  methodology. Ideally PMI Agile or Scrum Certified Practitioner.

  • The individual should also understand the omni channel SAP CEC-HYBRIS product and how it is delivered- using a complete WATERFALL- or AGILE or HYBRID methodology.

  •  Educated to bachelor degree level within a relevant degree subject matter or of graduate calibre

  •  Personal Qualities (Self-starter, Team Working, Communication, Organising, Motivating, Leadership, Negotiation, Decision-making, flexibility and attention to detail)
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation, ability to pick things up quickly. Proactive problem solving

  • Previous experience in deployment of Hybris projects, as a Project Manager or above level

  • Experience in running an SAP engagement and meeting customer needs
